UNESCO World Heritage sites are some of the most popular destinations for travelers. Yet many are inaccessible to disabled travelers, and any alterations to the sites are often resisted.

This is a tricky one… unfortunately I think the bigger problem they are facing now is how to keep the number of visitors under control so I am not sure how much accessibility will get attention.

We are thrilled to hear about this initiative. My Husband & I travel multiple months each year, always staying in hotels. We see a desperate need for this service. It feels like hotels were much better at accommodating disability until approximately 5-8 years ago (possibly due to so many mergers/acquisitions). Best of luck and we hope to see…
