I’ve unfortunately had to resort to buying my own portable ramp that’ll go in my motability vehicle. If I go out without my car then I rely on the shop/restaurant to provide a ramp but sometimes it IS impossible to get in, extremely frustrating
I wanted to start. Thread for the hearing challenged. Its a disability in everyday life at home and work and outside in the community.
View more commentsI used to volunteer for a charity called Richmond Aid, the CEO was deaf and could lip read incredibly well. The only time he took an interpreter with him was when the meeting was incredibly important and therefore he was amazingly able😀
That’s wonderful to see . Many people are successful despite the hearing. When travelling we don’t know how to read another country’s language on lips. I use translation apps but with masks and foreign accents and tones it’s challenging

What is for the weekend? I went to a small concert supporting earthquake victims in Taiwan at Billboard Tokyo. Unfortunately, there is only one option for accessible seating.
