I have accompanied my father in AirChina as we had to travel to meet my newborn nephew.The travel was great, had no issues with the transportation part.I really appreciated the kind of cooperation the staff showed with us.They time and again came to check on my Dad and we were extremely comfortable throughout our journey.

First of all it is not at all indecent to ask this question as it is genuinely a problem for lot of people. My Dad being in his late 80’s really struggles with this situation on a flight and he has opted for catheters that gets tied to his leg.But that’s because of his age factor as well.For him that is the most convienent way to address the nature’s call.

There should definitely be some norms which these Airlines need to adhere for wheelchair assistance and having a regulatory control over them is really need of the hour.As these devices are manhandled and definitely not take care off.

I highly appreciate the information shared on this forum.Because this will solve a big problem for my Dad while travelling.😀
