Beyond using ted hose, I try not to worry too much about this. It’s hard to get any accurate risk assessment for DVT and similar issues for people who primarily use a wheelchair, mostly because it’s under-studied. I’ve seen some studies stating it’s a much higher rate for wheelchair users, but their sample size in the study is usually small…

I already wear compression sox anyway… should I double them up?? Anyone have thoughts on preventing deep vein thrombosis?
