The flying with a disability group is here to ensure that all those living with a disability can travel freely, comfortably, and confidently. Here, you can engage with a dynamic and supportive group of individuals who understand the challenges and nuances of flying with a disability.
We covers a wide range of topics that include advice on navigating various airports, tips on checking you wheelchair or mobility device, and the latest news on airline policies and services. You can also share personal experiences, exchange stories, and ask any questions you may have about flying in a wheelchair or with a mobility device.
Members are encouraged to share practical solutions and innovative ideas to make air travel a smooth and pleasant journey for everyone. We believe that disability should never be a barrier to exploring the skies. Whether you’re a seasoned traveler or preparing for your first flight, our group is here to empower your journey. United Airlines Launches Digital Tool for Travelers With Wheelchairs
United Airlines announces new digital tool for customers with wheelchairs to ensure their personal device will fit on a flight.
I do use the United app but I don’t think I have seen this feature yet. I have requested assistance through it and that’s been possible for a while. I might go play with that feature to book a pretend trip just to see how it works!
