After reading an excellent review by Freewheel Weekends (https://www.freewheelweekends.com.au/melbourne/directory/national-gallery-of-victoria-international), I decided to look at the website for the gallery.  I thought this was neat:

The NGV has a range of Access Tours including Auslan, Audio Describing and All Abilities Tours. Designated Access days are organised for particular exhibitions and special viewings and tours can be arranged.
For more information please phone 03 8620 2222 or book online.

I don’t know how many times I have tried to see exhibits and have had to fight my way to the front just to see …. for every painting!  I always felt that it ruined my experience as I would be more concerned with not running over feet with my wheelchair than enjoying the art!

Great idea National Gallery of Victoria!
