Unfortunately, Covid-19 has cut the airlines some slack for implementing these new rules, but Canada has implemented some new regulations for airlines (and actual financial repercussions for not following the regulations)

UNWTO advocates accessible tourism in the new normal | TTG Asia
As tourism restarts, the UNWTO is calling on destinations to recognise and cater for the needs of travellers with disabilities or specific access requirements.
Joan Pahisa and pieterghijsels2 CommentsHi Josh! The ONCE Foundation worked together with UNWTO to develop these guidelines, but I was not directly involved, as the leading department was the one that does work related to tourism and architectural barriers. Nevertheless, there’s lots of communication between departments and, at the beginning of the project, our department was also… Read more

New airline policies suggest air travel is only essential to nondisabled people, and that the disabled can be excluded without regard for civil rights.
Belgium made masks mandatory in certain areas and situations, but allows people who can’t wear one due to medical reasons (attested by a MD) to use a face shield instead. So, wearing no protection isn’t accepted and police can fine you, but there’s a (less protective) alternative, if needed.
