New here but impressed, hoping to help spread the word about the ATF which does sound a bit like a para military force and not a group of people helping each other unravel the mysteries of accessible travel and tourism. Still, here’s my basic attempts at blogging and I’ve picked out the summary blog of four separate stories of a wonderful trip to the states last year.
15 accessible things we learnt on a trip to New York City, Washington & Boston

Hahaha, maybe we should change the name to “Accessible Travel Force” 🙂I’m an ex senior civil servant so acronyms were tools of my trade. I had 1200 people in my command until (very !!) early retirement a few years ago and at times it was like we were speaking another language. I think the site is probably better accessed direct from the web as somehow when I use the link in my email client it’s kess easy to navigate. What matters of course is the quality of discussion and information shared and that certainly seems to be present. Recently I did the page and navigation design and wrote 10,000 words of Wordpress page content for this site http://www.RonaldMcdonaldHouseLiverpool.org.uk and tho I’m a geek I’m not a tech…..can’t do coding or mess too much with html setups. My own Wordpress site at http://www.rustyman777.com is really basic but I’ve managed to use a free theme to create what amounts to three or four blogs on one site, so I’m pleased it seems to be working but I just need to write more in between a frenetic lifestyle !! Really pleased to have found this and will spread the word. Cheers, Mark
