• We have just finished a tour of Japan at home my husband normally uses a mobility scooter, but we hired a motorised mobility scooter from accessible Japan for our tour, at first we thought it was a little expensive but i am posting this today with high recommendation for this wheelchair as it made our holiday much easier and enjoyable the battery life was superb, never had to charge it while we were out and lasted all day,it folded up i.e.in restaurants and would go over small kerbs and gravel. If you need a scooter and are able to afford it I would certainly look at going through accessible Japan, we even had delivery and pick up in price.

      • I was glad to read this. I would love to hire one when we visit in May. Did you have it in every city- Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto because we will be visiting them. Is there possibility you could let me know how much it is, so I could check with my budget. Thanks,

        Pam

        • @Pam yes we were fortunate to be staying with my son so had it delivered there, we had it booked for 18 days altogether including delivery and pick up it cost £500, so it came with us where ever we stayed in Japan. All bookings for the wheelchair was done through accessible Japan.

        • Thank you very much Nicky for all the information, highly appreciated, Pam
