We spent a couple of weeks in Montego Bay at the SHotel. The Hotel is fairly wheelchair accessible. There was a step to enter our room and they immediately put down a ramp. The same was the case to enter some of their restaurants. I found it quite easy to wheel around the grounds eventhough it was not possible for me to roll down down to the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
We also did some excursions to explore part of the interior of the island and all the way to Negril. Another day we went to Ocho Rios and Fern Gulley. We found a very uncomplicated, kind and helpful driver with a van big enough to fit in my foldable manual wheelchair. If anybody is interested in his details I am happy to provide them.
All in all Jamaica is not really wheelchair accessible (sidewalks with huge steps and holes) but with the right mindset and willingness you can explore the island also with a wheelchair.
