New Wheelchair Rental at Haneda
Some of you here are probably aware of this, but a new wheelchair rental service has started at Haneda Airport Terminal 3. They rent normal manual wheelchairs as well as a light-weight power wheelchairs that is foldable and self-standing.
You can get it at the airport, take it anywhere while you are traveling in Japan, and bring it back there.
It says it is a trial started late February till the end of March but I heard it will continue after April 1, 2025.

nozochan25, kikuesan808 and 4 others4 CommentsI’m planning on arriving the end of May, would this still be an option then? Is there any way I can be updated on this? I have a foldable electric wheelchair that I was planning on bringing, but this might make it easier since I am flying into and out of HND, but my arrival and departure times are in the early evening, 8 pm.
I cannot say anything assured, but I assume it will. The website says “We require an extra for extra-hour service (JPY500.-).” I am quite not sure what it means though….
I found the partly English explanation from Haneda website. Hope it works.
