        • How long did it take to get your chair repaired or replaced, Josh? I’m reading that they have designed seats or rows of seats to be removed so that wheelchair users can remain in their chairs for the duration of the flight – do we have any idea as to when those chair accommodations will be readily available on US flights routinely?

          • @JoanneC a month or two maybe? In a separate incident, I’m waiting for a repair for a non-important part. The airline gave me a quick ok, but parts are taking months to be shipped in…

As for the seats where you can stay in your wheelchair, as far as I know it is still in a prototype and even if OKed, it would take years to add them I’m sure. But hope sooner than I expect!

            • @joshgrisdale they should be forced to IMMEDIATELY rent you a replacement chair of equal or greater value. It’s outrageous that you are stuck waiting a month or two for parts. Heck, they own an airline, surely someone on one of their flights should be tagged to puck up the part and bring it by air into your city.

See, it’s this cavalier attitude about how unessential your ease of mobility and freedom of movement is that makes me the angriest on your behalf.

        • I have a manual chair but I still live in fear of them damaging it.
