I took my DJI Action Camera (4th edition) to multiple places that I vlogged before editing, and I was very happy with the quality! It is such a lightweight camera – I highly recommend it. I also use a Sony ZV1 with a better mic that I bought separately. What equipment have you tried for your videos?
Josh Grisdale3 CommentsI have the very first one and dug it out of storage the other day before going to a fireworks show. Unfortunately it is showing its age and easily lost to my iPhone (15 Pro Max) for image quality. BUT, since it is light weight and uses the common GoPro attachment, there are many ways to attach it to my wheelchair – or body! Maybe time to upgrade though…
Has anyone tried the Osmo Pocket 3? I like the idea of the gimbal since I have trouble holding my camera straight.
1@joshgrisdale The zoom on the iPhone 15 (my friend has one, and I have compared to my 13) is even better than my Sony ZV1! The 16 looks even better. I often find myself just grabbing the iphone when vlogging, but I do notice the picture and sound isn’t as good when editing. However, I always tell people just start with your phone and see how you like vlogging before buying equipment. I am also curious if anyone has tried the Osmo pocket because I was tempted by that, and I was also tempted by the Insta360 before going with the Osmo Action. I chose the Action because of the reviews of it in darkness, and it has been great with that in my experience.
1@daniellevates yes, just starting is the most important step!
