Disney Implements Overhaul Of Disability Access At Parks
Despite pushback, Disney is pressing ahead with major changes to its process for providing disability accommodations at its theme parks amid concerns about rampant abuse of the program.
2 CommentsJamie from AdventuresByJamie (on instagram) posted an update about her experience today. It was not good. I recommend hearing it from her firsthand. However, SUPER disappointed in Disney. Really hope they open their eyes to how bad this is, and could be for people with serious health issues. Walt must be spinning in his grave!! 😡

I’ll be going on June 18th to Disneyland for their second annual Pride Nite. I hope it won’t be a hassle to get a DAS. If I have to ‘play’ dumb or to stereotypes to get one, I’ll do it. (That’s how I get qualified for paratransit.) Just hope being very independent doesn’t hurt my chances. If it does, I’ll just have to accept it. I can’t let $150 go to waste.
