• I’ve heard renting/hiring a wheelchair is the best option in Japan. However, I heard wheelchairs are delivered to the hotel. I need the wheelchair immediately to get around the airport and to be able to ride on a train to my hotel. Is there a way to get it at the airport?

Also, I need to rent in Tokyo and return in Osaka…. is that possible?

By the way, my trip is a little over a year away but I can’t stop worrying about this.

      • Why don’t you bring wheelchair from US/wherever place you come from? In my opinion that will a lot easier.

        • Hi thanks for responding! I think I am going to bring my own, the more I think about it. I just need to decide what wheelchair to bring. I have a manual one that I need to be pushed in because I can’t self propel. If I bring a push chair I’m going to trade that for a really nice transport chair. I really want an electric one and I’m researching into that now. I think you’re right bringing one is best. I just need to make sure the battery is airplane approved and bring an extra battery just in case. Someone in this group said to rent. That’s why I was thinking that.
