Don’t trust booking engines where you can find hundreds accessible hotels in Italy!
I explain you why!

Most of the Hotels in Italy have been built into old palaces, which are amazing and full of history and charme.. but definitely not accessible because of small spaces, stairs, small elevators…
As per italian law, every Hotel, for every 10 rooms MUST have an accessible room.
And that’s fine! Unfortunately, law talks about room only.
and what about the common spaces? What about if to reach the accessible room there are 4 steps?? or there is no ramp at the entrance???

You will never find these information on the booking engines…

Rome and Italy Staff travel up and down Italy to visit, test and certify all the Hotels to be really accessible in all their spaces and areas!
So that’s why you have to trust an expert, and not a wedding page!!!
