How many of these parks have you visited?

schroth-sensei2 CommentsI’ve been to a few of these myself, though I was still able to walk back then so I wasn’t concerned with accessibility at the time. However, I recall the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone National Park being easy to get around without hiking (I HIGHLY recommend both, they are natural wonders). At the time Yellowstone had wooden walkways with some steps I believe (I’m betting more ramps now), here’s an old picture of my brother and I (I’m on the left) on such a walkway overlooking a sulfur pool heading to Old Faithful Geyser.
Awwww!
I have heard that the US has done a great job of making national parks accessible. Hope to visit some… one day!
