Hello dear friends,
Hope you’re safe and well.
My trip to japan is so close and i have some doubts about the entry to japan continuous medicine. Do i need to bring some translated prescription signed by my docter ? I take oxybutynin everyday for the bladder control and etc. I wonder if would get stuck at boder control if i don’t bring any prescription with me.
Also, i have some doubts about parking areas. As a foreigner am i allowed to use the priority parking for wheelchair users or do i need to get some permission before I arrive? I have permission certificate and card to parking in these priority area in my country but I don’t know if i would get in trouble to parking my car in priority area as foreigner.
I’ll appreciate any additional information about those matters.
Thanks a lot in advance.
Rodrigo
3 CommentsHi there!
For parking, it might be best to start a new discussion in the group’s Discussions tab (https://www.tabifolk.com/groups/japan/forum/destinations/asia/japan-discussions/) as it will allow for a better back and forth conversation.
About meds, have you checked out this page?

Thank you very much for the info.
Hi Rodrigo, I have just returned from Japan and I travel with several (pill form) medications. I did not get stopped or had any issues carrying that in. I have carried a letter from my doctor before (to other destinations) but I was never asked for it so I don’t bother anymore.
Have a lovely time!
