New research reveals 'Top 10 Most Accessible Cities' in the world
2 CommentsI have been to Las Vegas, NYC, and Orlando (well, just Walt Disney World).
I agree 100% with Vegas. All the hotels along the Strip and in Downtown are accessible. The sidewalks have curb cuts and even the intersections with escalators also have elevators. Getting an accessible cab from the airport is pretty easy. The taxi stand workers know to get one ASAP. Even at the hotels, the valets get right on the phone to call an accessible cab.
As for NYC, I disagree with that. It’s very difficult to access the subway system. It’s an older city with old buildings.
And, I don’t know if they mean Orlando itself or Walt Disney World (WDW). WDW is very accessible.Yeah, that one surprised me too. Maybe they are trying to appeal to NYC because it is an organization promoting accessibility at companies and want to keep Wall Street happy 🤔
