  • Hello. We are visiting Tokyo right now. Last night when we arrived to Haneda Airport, my sister’s ottobock b400 wheelchair didn’t work. Probably in plane something happened to her wheelchair. Do you know somewhere we can get help for wheelchair repair?

    • We couldn’t go to our planned hotel and we had to stay in a hotel in the Haneda Airport. Now we have to find out what to do. We rent a non-powered, normal wheelchair for now. Ottobock japan is not helping about repair or anything else. Airport also don’t help.

    • I think if you don’t mind costing some money, one place will be helpful. さいとう工房 (Saito koubo, means Saito workshop). They are experts for repairing wheelchairs. But they need appointment, or check the time schedule with them by phone… ). Do you interested in it?

  • Hi! I have some specific questions regarding requirements of an upcoming tour client and would love the opportunity to speak to someone directly if that’s possible?

    Thanks!

(Obviously, to protect your client’s privacy, please be careful to not give any information… Read more

    • First time I was stopped by security 😰😵‍💫, but managed to get some pictures of the toilets at the new Kabukicho Tower.

      • You in Japan? Travelling? I am too.

Yeah the toilets are amazing and they’re everywhere. Even if a place doesn’t have a separate room for handicapped toilet, they have retrofitted one urinal and one cubicle with grab bars and stuff.

      • Hi👋
Welcome to tabifolk – very excited to have you here!
You might want to post this as a new topic under the “Discussions” tab as well since activity posts like this can get pushed down out of view quickly.
Just click “Discussions” and then the “”New Discussion” button!

        • Hi! Are you looking for a tour, like with a guide? Or just some ideas for an itinerary?
