Sadly, we never got down to the Wheel in Darwin last year to view the wheelchair accessible gondola IRL. But, the Wheel is coming back and I suspect the wheelchair accessible gondola is now a permanent part of its construction.

Hi Everyone! I’m Mary and was Dx with Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy when I was 64. I am 70 now. My husband and used to travel a lot, but it has gotten harder due to continuous muscle atrophy. Our last trip was a river cruise on the Danube. Additional trips were planned until I fell and shattered my hip. Our hope is that I will be mobile again…
